Born and raised in Cuba, Ana Del Toro discovered her love for dance almost as soon as she could walk. What began as a childhood fascination quickly grew into a lifelong devotion. Drawn to the passion, discipline, and expressive power of Flamenco, Ana spent years studying the art form, refining her technique, and immersing herself in its cultural roots.

As her artistry matured, Ana realized that her connection to dance extended beyond performance. She felt a growing desire to share what dance had given her—confidence, joy, and a sense of identity. This calling led her to teaching, where she found a new purpose and a deeper fulfillment.

Today, Ana’s greatest joy comes from working with children. She loves watching them discover their rhythm, build self‑confidence, and express themselves freely through movement. Her classes are filled with encouragement, creativity, and the belief that every child has a unique spark waiting to be nurtured.

In addition to her artistic journey, Ana holds a degree in International Relations from Cuba, a testament to her curiosity about the world and her commitment to personal growth. She now serves as the director of The Dream Dance Studio, where she leads with heart, vision, and a passion for inspiring the next generation of dancers.

Co-Founder and Co-Director

Born in Havana, Cuba, she began her training at an early age, discovering a lifelong passion for dance. She became a soloist with the Ballet Español de Cuba—founded under prima ballerina assoluta Alicia Alonso—where she also choreographed celebrated works like The House of Bernarda Alba, El amor brujo, and Carmen.

She perfected her technique under master Spanish instructors and performed at major international festivals worldwide. Her choreography Sonatas y Fandangos took second place at Madrid's First Spanish Dance and Flamenco Competition, and she later performed with the María Serrano Company in Ritmo at Seville’s Bienal de Flamenco, followed by tours across Europe.

Now based in Miami, she dedicates her career to teaching Spanish dance and flamenco to dancers of all ages. As a mentor, she combines her rich stage experience with a passion for cultivating technical mastery, discipline, and the deep cultural spirit of the art form.

Art, Movement & Well-Being

J. Iliana Artiles is a mental health professional dedicated to the transformative power of art and movement. As part of our Arts and Health Foundation, she utilizes dance and creative body expression to nurture emotional and physical well-being across all ages—children, adolescents, and adults.

Through dance, we cultivate inclusive spaces where movement serves as a vital channel to process emotions, alleviate stress and anxiety, build self-esteem, and foster genuine human connection. We believe art is far more than something to observe—it is an immersive experience meant to be felt, embodied, and embraced as a catalyst for personal growth.

Because when the body moves, the emotions speak.
